Frequently asked questions

How many dinosaur word search puzzles are there?

As many as you print. Each grid samples about twenty words from the theme's list and places them differently, so a batch of four gives you four different puzzles — and the grid you can play on this page changes every day.

Do the printed puzzles come with the answers?

Yes: every printed grid is followed by its solution page, with the words highlighted. Choose a level and a number of grids, click Print, and use “Save as PDF” in the print dialog if you'd rather keep a file.

Which level should I pick for a dinosaur word search?

Level 1 hides words across and down only — the right start for early readers. Level 2 adds diagonals. Level 3 also hides words backwards, in all eight directions, which is the one adults usually enjoy. The word list is the same at every level.

Is it free, and do I need an account?

Free, with no account and no email: play on the page or print straight away. Kioskadia only asks for a nickname if you want to appear on the leaderboard of its daily word search — which is a different puzzle, on a different page.

Are these dinosaur puzzles the same as on other sites?

No. Kioskadia generates its own grids from its own copy of the list, so a puzzle printed here won't turn up anywhere else. That matters when two classrooms swap worksheets.
